HLT 0109 Posted December 8, 2010 Share Posted December 8, 2010 6 coaches on 1:20 sounds good, but what if it was 16 bogie vans? Im guessing its not going to happen. Ive got a long space to work with so scale length trains are not a problem. Actually it is 6 coaches on 1:15 and the gradient was dicated by the fact that I had to descend 7inches in 9feet. If you have plenty of room, then I would say make the gradient the minimum you need to gain the height you want and just go for it. Your plan sounds great.
