Free At Last
For the last few weeks I have been making this on my dining room table, no domestic authorities to worry about. It is a six road shed based on an L&Y type after the LMS modernisation sheme, by which it gained a concrete roof with louvre type smoke vents. I am giving myself a rest from it now whilst I think of how to make this. I am thinking of building it on a sheet of perspex so as to be removable and keep it's rigidity. The walls are 4mm and 6mm mdf covered in Scalescenes brick paper and the northlight roof is mounting board with Metcalfe card roof slates. I have made a few Metcalfe kits but this is the first time I have attempted anything like this so I am quite pleased with my results.
