The former Midland railway station Gloucester Eastgate station the line between Tuffey Junction and Eastgate closed on the 1st December 1975. All services are now concentrated on the former Great Western Railway station Gloucester Central. In the first major change to the “Corporate Blue†policy suburban and local DMU’s and EMU’s will generally receive “blue/grey†intercity livery instead of corporate blue.
