AMJ
Many of the old timers on here will remember my 105mm:1' workbench that I used to very occasionally update on previous versions of this forum. Some of the photos have been archived to http://andrewjohnson.fotopic.net/c1875499.html This shows 0-4-0DM Fowler 3900002/1945, from the original Works photo through to the stage that the group at Middleton Railway have now restored it to. The award is the HRA Interpretation award. It is an ideal loco to display as we have taken off the sides and put labels onto many of the parts. These are magnetic so that they do not destroy the paintwork. It can be seen in the Engine House at Middleton on 1st & 2nd January 2011 (when we are running trains). Trains then resume after the winter break in the spring - see website for details (link in my sig.) It can also be seen on p6 in Heritage Railway magazine issue 145. avonside1563
Who gave Mr Smith a Dicky Bow, and what is he picking out of the handkerchief ?
AMJ
Nigel, you are probably like us and do not recognise Mr Smith in a suit? Wherever I go and say which railway I'm involved with and the question arises "so you know Ian".
