getting in to the 67 cab

Hi,

so as not to clog up the opinions thread I have started this new one. How do I get in to the cab to reattach the glass.

The side window on my royal one has come out and whilst I was trying to sort it out I pushed the windscreen out as well.

Also what is the best thing to fix the glazing back in to the loco with as I know that the super glue I use will destroy the plastic.

thanks

Alistair

Must admit this is not the easiest job but basically:

Take body off and take the light bar attachment off the part below the seating (you will need to glue it back in place)

Then prise the seat moulding out

It can actually be harder to put it back in than take it out so you might want to file a bit off the top.... you can take all the lighting out to make the job easier but I find it better to leave it in.

Use a two part epoxy glue to fit the windscreen back.

Hope that helps.

Thanks very much Mr Mercig.

I very very gently eased a tiny screwdriver between the lighting bar and as I was about to quit and put it away as a 'I will just live with it' loco, it pinged and hit the tv and landed on the carpet.

Thank god it is painted black and the carpet is green!

I now have a class 67 with all of the windows in place. The queen will be happy with her locos now.
