Ian_T
I understand from tonights search that a number of class 86 and class 87 locos are stores at Long Marston in Warwickshire. Has anyone been there, and if so can you get access to obtain any pictures etc?
edcayton
They have had open days, and you can see some stuff from the adjacent roads. Ed
Glorious NSE
There are occasionally guided walking tours for various groups as well, i've been round with a group from DEMU for instance - you can take pictures (with a few restrictions) but you will be under a verbal agreement with them not to publish them (including the internet) so any images would be for personal use only. I don't believe there is such a restriction on the open day, and IIRC that is normally the part of the site with public access during those events.
