johnw1 Posted January 30, 2011 Share Posted January 30, 2011 Traction changes Stored: 31420, 37109, 37203/19, 37676/80, 37884/93, 47052, 56069, 86249 * Subsequently reinstated Reinstated: 07001, 12082, 73005, 73906 Broken Up: 37191 47530 Two long time “withdrawn†locomotives have been reinstated with 07001 at Barrow Hill and class 11, 12082 at Wabtec, Doncaster. 07001 was originally withdrawn from Eastleigh in July 1977 whilst 12082 was withdrawn as long ago as October 1971 from Llandudno Junction. 92040 returned to traffic on the 16th January 2001, it's first active duty since September 1997 following just over three years “under repairâ€. 47756 returned to traffic on the 9th March 2001 following protracted repairs at Motherwell having been out of use since April 2000, however after eleven hours in traffic it failed with contaminated oil and was again under repair at Motherwell.
