Kenton
How about a simple WallWart plug in and play transformer in a plug for the the Tortoises. I am/have used a 9v DC one to drive 6 Tortoise without a problem. They can be purchased from Maplins but you may already have one lying around. Bernard Lamb
I have used Gaugemaster for many years without any problems. The best thing available since H & M as far as I am concerned. They do cased and open versions. I prefer the open type and build them into a 'red box' unit on the floor so that the layout only has 16 volt max. http://www.gaugemaster.com/modules.html Bernard
45157
Try here. http://www.allcomponents.co.uk/ They attend many exhibitions (see list on site), offer an excellent mail order service and have an incredible range of components and materials. As it happens, I purchased both my DC (open frame) and DCC (enclosed) transformers from them and the range is comprehensive. No connection other than a multi-use and very satisfied customer. regards Stewart
