Bill Posted February 11, 2011 Share Posted February 11, 2011 I have a mostly DC system and have a couple of Bachmann locos with factory installed chips. They run in both forwards and reverse on the DC controlled portions of the track with no problems. One of the three tracks is controlled by a Gaugemaster DCC 75/ MRC Tech 6 Sound Controller On the Tech 6 controlled portion they happily run in both directions whilst in DCC mode. But when under control of the Tech 6 in DC mode they will only run forwards - reverse appears to be somehow disabled. Even though nothing has happened and it is DC mode. This has me stumped. Un-chipped locos will happily run in both directions under contol of the Tech 6 in DC mode... A little I know confusing but I hope clear.
