Hi

Im building a 5 inch gauge 4575/55xx. Cant find much information on the class and also cant find any information on which locos would have been sheded in or around swansea area? Seen a picture of 5529 near cardiff but thats about it. Any help would be great:) And pictures would also be great.

Click on the Steam loco menu, then on the 2-6-2 menu, then click on small prairies.

 

This will bring up a side bar on which you can find all the 44/45/4575 loco allocation when first introduced, in 1947, 1950 and last shed prior to withdrawal. It also works in a similar way for all other classes

 

The Bradford Barton series of GWR picture albums are a goood sourse of photos. Steam/More Steam in South Wales, As are the various Micheal Hale books on South Wales.
