Recommended Posts

The NMRA has begun the huge process of digitizing its collection of photos, drawings & documents. This will be a tremendoius resource when it is complete.

It is now beginning to come on line. Go to say "Photographs" and then "Structures" and click on a thumbnail. Then slowly run your cursor over the picture to see the detail.

If you want more detail you can paypal at a very reasonable charge.

Actually that's not a bad price - I cannot understand why they need pre-orders - duplicating the discs/printwork and container wouldn't top $20.00.

The costly part is already done, the research, editorial, copying, planning software etc.....those cost would remain the same whether they sold 20 copies or 2,000 copies, i.e. the costs have already been incurred (and they must be considerable).

Best, Pete.
