Dan Griffin
my 'grand old lady' loco. the very first loco I bought with money I earned from my first job, purchased from a fledgling Trains4u way back in 2004? 20217. shes been through the wars a bit. when my shelving unit collapsed (2006) she fell on a concrete floor, breaking the diecast chassis under the cab, which is superglued back together, snowploughs and pipes have been added. weathering was applied and removed. it has the honour of hauling the first train on at least three layouts, and the demolition train on my previous layout. the snowploughs have actually cleared real snow on my garden railway too. one I will never part with, but she will be withdrawn soon for an 'f' exam.
