Theakerr
On the brake van A unit of the Bachmann suburbans, there is a toilette next to the Guards Compartment. The window on only one side is whited out. Does anyone know if this is correct or should both sides be whited out. My memory thinks it remembers that on ER versions the end piping was often highlighted in white. Can anyone confirm (or correct) this memory? chrisf
It's not a toilet but the guard's space. I think the whiting of the one window is correct but I'm not sure. Where did I put those photos? Chris
coachmann
The frosted window was common on LMS coaches too. It was where a locker and letter rack was positioned. Its position varied on different Lots but wherever there is a frosted of whitened window in the luggage area, rest assured it is not a toilet.
Theakerr
Makes sense. Thus the Bachmanns are correct. Many Thanks
