Redkiterail
Trip to London by Samuel Bennett original page on Old RMweb __________________________________________ ??? posted on Sun Mar 08, 2009 10:26 am I went down to London to see family due to engineering works on GEML I chose to go to Cambridge and go down ECML to London. I went on the first train of the day which departs Hoveton and Wroxham at 07:03 and got back at 20:00. At Cambridge got in late the train in front had a technical fault so caught the Cambridge Express, the scissors crossover is pretty unquie a good way of increase operation. When coming back had some time and mange to catch the Grand Central HST. I hope you like the pictures. __________________________________________ Comment posted by JZjr on Sun Mar 08, 2009 11:39 am Some good pictures there, looks like you had a wonderful day. __________________________________________ ??? posted on Sun Mar 08, 2009 12:03 pm Thanks the Grand Central HST does defend the MTU power cars. If anyone goes down the Norwich to Ely line, there is a 03/04 shunter plus I guess a tube wagon and SECR brake van at Wymondham plus is semaphore signal after leaving the GEML. __________________________________________
