cheesysmith
Am I being thick? Have been trying to dismantle a lima 116 dmu to no avail. What am I missing? Have tried putting some pieces of plastic down the sides of the body, and removing the screws underneath, but nowt is moving. Does it just require the use of brute force and more effort? 37114
From what you have described brute force is the answer, from memory as well as the clips down the side they have 1 at each end as well, hence why you need to pull reasonably hard to get the chassis out. Adrian Wintle
IIRC, one end is a clip (gangway end?), while the other is effectively a tab and slot (and the tab will break off if you force it - it is, however, no great loss). Adrian
cheesysmith
Well, brute force here we come. Didn`t know about the end tabs. Cheesysmith
