Bruciethefish Posted November 17, 2009 Share Posted November 17, 2009 I've long been fascinated by the Southern's 'hidden' depot at Ewer Street, which combined a continental freight depot, & a loco servicing facility serving several main termini, & set on a series of brick arches. Add some additional freight facilities, make it movable in geographical & historical context, so I can ring the changes if I feel the need, & you have 'Titan Arches', hopefully rising majestically above a decaying urban industrial area... You won't see any computer-generated anything from me, I'm afraid, having not even mastered typing without suddenly losing everything, but I'll post up a basic trackplan once I've worked out what I'm doing... This will be OO, using mostly Peco pointwork, unless I have to custom-build something to fit, & I have a scenic area of 7'6" x 18" max, with about 3' for a fiddle yard, running along the top of my book/stock shelves.. (I just have to stop the cat from nesting up there..) This will be my first serious attempt at building a layout, so it's a learning curve from here on.....
