The scaffolding at Wroxham signal box must be a recent addition, it wasn't there when we went in early July.

Fairly recent as part of a long term (i guess) renovation of listed box.

The two brake vans stand on track isolated from the national network. Hopefully the operating authorities and/or vandals continue to miss them!!!

The plan for the box as I believe is that is now owned by a group of enthusiasts and is going to be restored and be open to the public it has been moved back from the main line to aid signal sighting.

Last time i was up there, the sidings had been ripped up, one of the brake vans had vanished and the other had been moved further over the other side of the line for no reason i could see. I will have to pay another visit soon and see if anymore has happened (any excuse to take the kids out on BVR!) It's sad to see the old lines taken up and those vans had been there since i was an active BVR volunteer back in the late 90s and probably longer.

Resurecting a dead thread!
