RMweb Premium coronach Posted November 26, 2017 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted November 26, 2017 Here are a few pictures from a cold loft this morning. At least the cold is a realistic representation of the Scottish borders in November ! The new D30 has been run for the first time since completion. Adhesion is a bit lacking but I hope a bit of oil on the bearings will help. I will struggle to get more weight in though. I will be happy if it can pull three non-corridor coaches up the gradient as well as down....... !
RMweb Premium coronach Posted November 26, 2017 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted November 26, 2017 A D30 from Hawick shed passes the remote signal box at Whitrope Siding with a passenger train on a cold November day. Hopefully the steam heating is working correctly in the three Thompson and Gresley non-corridor coaches.

A covering of acrylic paint, generously sprinkled with various clocks and Woodland Scenics stuff. This is then saturated in diluted PVA to fix and then more stuff will be added whilst still wet to create depth. Afterwards, I will work on the rocky outcrops...
