Flood Posted April 3, 2011 Share Posted April 3, 2011 Further to the thread on Class B Esso 35t tank wagons I have now found out that if I wish to make a Class A type I have not only got to extend the tanks but also alter the suspension. I dont know of any castings or anything else that are exactly like that, although you'd get a lighter duty arrangement (that could probably be adapted) from Parkside's PA16 chassis kit. Having said that, I'm not at all sure you *have* to alter the suspension, I'm pretty sure some early class As had the same springs as the kit Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm at work so I can't check Paul's photo at the moment but I'll see which set of springs look the nearest when I get home. Looks like these are going to turn into quite interesting wagons.
