Dan Griffin
poor quality coal, as it was routed via hertford loop they used alot of coal as it was burning badly, the 37 on the back also failed, however it made it to lincoln and a 47 was dispatched to peterborough for the return which piloted 34067 back to basingstoke. thats what you get for running a charter on the 13th!! Dan Hamblin
A bearing also ran hot on the return leg, hence its removal from the train at Connington. Now back at Southall. Regards, Dan
