Failing that has anyone come across any model shops anywhere in the Lac Leman area that are wiorth a visit? The list of model shops in the quoted list is extremely poor. There are dozens of good model railway shops in Switzerland, none of which are on the list. A much better list is by the Swiss Railways Society: http://www.swissrailsoc.org.uk/SRS_Modelling_Swiss_Model_Shop_List_2010-05.xls I've been shopping in Geneva model shops since I was about 6 years old. The nearest to Cornavin station is Expertrains (Rue de Berne), but possibly the best of the shops are Jouets Boller (on tram route 13 a few mins from Cornavin), and Reve de Gosse in Carouge (a few minutes from tram route 12 in old Carouge).
