Guest 34008Padstow
Hi guys. Before i start on my main layout i thought id try my hand at a photographic plank. By doing this i can try different scenic techniques and what works best. On the planks (theres two) there is a small platforms, big enough for a 2 car 142, and hopefully a small level crossing (Umberleigh crossing inspired.) Its called Molton Road and is between Crediton and Yeoford and was Recently built in the last ten years (modellers licence) The station is a request stop only and has A waiting shelter and a bench, which i have yet to buy. I will get some pics up later this evening. Thanks for looking

Beresford Junction
Dont think the colour looks right, can anyone tell me if it is It looks a bit 'sandy' to me - certainly in the photo. Not that I'm any expert. Cheers Phil
Beresford Junction
I had a feeling it was. I was trying to get something similar to this http://www.chiark.gr...umberleighs.jpg Probably worth waiting for it to dry as it will lighten again. On this posting on Beresford Junction there are two versions of my greyish ballst the wet is very dark and the light is what it will look like in the end. I'm still waiting for it to fully dry out though, 2 days later..... Cheers Phil Or you can always lighten the photo on your PC
