Allegheny1600
Hi all, As there are no trains in this video/website, I wondered if to put it in "Wheeltappers" but I feel it's best here! Anyone who wants to get a feel for the 'real' Texas, have a look on here and have a listen to the music, too! http://www.wymanmeinzer.com/ Cheers, John E. Kenton
Some really clever photography - but nothing like the Texas I know. (I have a brother-in-law who is currently upsizing to a ranch out there, and SWMBO is currently out there on business) as US states go I must say I found it rather boring and monotone. I have to say I agree, at least about parts of the state. I spent two weeks there in March, in Houston and Corpus Christi - it was flat, and the vegetation was pretty scrubby. I've been in the hill country towards Austin on a previous visit, and that was nice, but not in the same class as the Rocky Mountain and west coast states.
