Stewart
Easy, calm your jets! Thought those who enjoyed George C O'Hara's BR Diesel Traction in Scotland book might be interested to know that the 25th March edition of the Ayrshire Post contained a letter from the author himself seeking photographs to assist his research for Volume 2. George was particularly looking for Blair Colliery, Dalry, circa 1966/68; Belston Junction, Drongan, circa 1968/74; Glenburn Colliery, Prestwick, circa 1970/74; Kames Colliery, Muirkirk, circa 1966/69; Littlemill Colliery, Rankinston, circa 1968/74; Cairnhill Mine, Cronberry, circa 1968/74; Girvan Valley, Barganny Mine, circa 1968/72; Fauldhead Colliery, Kirkconnell, circa 1966/68. So Volume 2 is underway - looking forward to it already! I know it's May now but I lost the bit of paper with the letter and just found it again today.
