Dr diesel
Hello Francesco I assume you have the user??™s manual at hand. If not you can download it here http://www.modelrectifier.com/resources/trainSound/1406_web.pdf Part 2-8 is the pages with the step by step instructions you require. Two methods are mentioned in the instructions. Universal (old style) consisting and Advanced consisting Please be aware that Advanced consisting can only be achieved if all the locos you are coupling together have decoders with CV19. Please check your decoder charts. Out of the locos you have coupled if any one of these has a decoder without CV19 then you need to use Universal (old style) consisting for that formation of locos. I think this is where you may be having the problem. Regards Jeff
AlanVSparks
Jeff, Can you recommend a low cost decoder that supports CV19? I want to advance consist with Bachmann sound fitted locos so CV set up is important. Thanks Alan Hello Francesco I assume you have the user??™s manual at hand. Dr diesel
Hello Alan Hopefully CV19 will be available within the Hornby Sapphire if it ever comes on the market. Retail price expected to be around ??17 Jeff
Dr diesel
Hello again Sorry to correct you Paul, the Bachmann 21 pin standard decoder 36-554 does not support CV19. Also no CV19 with the Bachmann 3 function decoder 36-553. But good news to you Alan, the Bachmann 2 function 36-552 does have CV19 at a Budget price.
