GEfan Posted May 23, 2011 Share Posted May 23, 2011 Anyone fitted a decoder to the Heljan class 15? How easy is it and what make of non-sound 8 decoder fits? Believe it takes an 8 pin decoder so will a basic Bachmann 8 pin decoder fit and work ok on it? Trying to keep the cost down! Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

GEfan Posted May 29, 2011 Author Share Posted May 29, 2011 Thanks guys. I've now removed the body in accordance with the Bromsgrove instructions. Requires a lot of patience as they say as the body is very tight on the chassis. Also found a video on u-tube relating to this topic which shows how to remove the body.
