signalmaintainer
Just received a Jarvis resin OO tunnel portal and retaining wall set -- nice-looking but all three pieces are warped! I've considered placing them in hot (near-boiling) water for several minutes, then placing them under something heavy and flat. Is that a bad idea or a possible fix? In the E-bay photo, they didn't appear warped at all. ...I'm just saying. ...
Andy Y
.Is that a bad idea or a possible fix? That's the best thing. It took several goes to sort out a banana-shaped boat hull that was warped of about 3/4" thickness. Be careful about trying to bend it with the hands though in case you overdo it. Hadn't considered that success might take more than two attempts, so I'll be persistent . . .and gentle!
