In Modular Form

Hi all,

I said elsewhere that I'd better start a thread of my own to show what I'm up to with the HO stuff!

So - Here it is!

How did it all start?

A long time ago a friend and I built an N Gauge layout that ended up as 36 ft of 'Modelling bits of Scotland' that we liked with baseboards that were all 6ft long...

Tp protect all this we had some covers made that were 6ft by 1ft.

Guess who kept all the covers after the layout was split up and part landfill material...

So - That's how my modules are all based on 6ft by 1ft.

See attached for the basics of what I have - so far!

Don't worry about the descriptions on the track - It's all been done with Flexitrack - just producing the trackplan was easier in X-TrKCad using the standard libraries.

So - On with the show!

I've included the .xtc files for those who love to play with trackplans!

Thanks

Loads of track!

What's what in the first (top) module?

Best, Pete.

Hi pete,

I'll try and put labels on shortly!

Patriot Yard 1 and 2 are desigend for use as either:

two seperate storage yards for an end to end layout

or

a single double ended yard for a continuous layout

More once I can make the descriptions fir the plan!

Thanks

I like the pipe bridge there's one near me and if both the camera's at my disposal were not broken I'd publish a photo of it........What sort of wet stuff is it? If you did corn syrup they have 6 different grades and each one has to be kept separate.....................

Best, Pete
