RMweb Gold Brinkly Posted June 3, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 3, 2011 I've seen quite a lot of things on ebay recently priced like that. Does it mean that the seller makes a better profit and pays less to ebay? Regards, Nick
Lady_Ava_Hay
I've seen quite a lot of things on ebay recently priced like that. Does it mean that the seller makes a better profit and pays less to ebay? Regards, Nick E Bay do run promotions for biz sellers involving a reduction of fee for free postage. Free postage is a big draw now, there has been so much flack directed at sellers about P & P. It is dangerous though to start at 99p with free postage as I found the other day. I still think for the auction format it is best to state your postage cost up front. For instance, Rapid charged me £4.95 for P & P on some LED's that I ordered. I just sent them back unopened in a mail bag for £1.57. It would have been £1.74 for first class. Even I can't justify £3 + for my time to do it and I have to buy my envelopes retail as well.
