lankyphil
Simply put, in the Steam era, did all buffer stops have a red lamp on them (as per the Peco Rail built job)? Cheers Phil
Adam
In a word, no. SR ones had a white painted beam with a red stripe (4") running horizontally along the centre. Adam
RMweb Gold The Stationmaster Posted June 5, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 5, 2011 No - some showed a white light instead of red. Whether it is white or red red depended entirely on the position of the buffer stop but simple rule of thumb was that if it was adjacent to a facing running line through movement then a white light would be used instead of red.
