dave1905
The classic power for the juice trains as I remember them was a pair of ex-PRR E-44's or GG-1's. My university was right next to the ex-PRR "high line" through Phillie and when the juice train or a ore train would got trundling by in the summer, we had to suspend the class until the train passed because of the noise. It took almost 30 years for the scenario we dreamed of back in college to become theoretically possible. A collision between the juice train and a trainload of alcohol to make the worlds largest screwdriver.
