R31 Mark
I haven't delved into railway loco & stock building much yet. I model in British n scale and would like some tips and advice on what materials i should use, lining locos, tips, and some help on painting would also be great. Im not in the position to buy an airbrush & compressor so that's out of the question. Any help would be greatly appreciated ! Mark
Etched Pixels
It rather depends what you plan to build I think. I find card is quite adequate for building N gauge wagon bodies but for coaches you need a more solid base for the floor. A lot also depends upon whether you have curved surfaces - some materials are great for flat surfaces but a pain for curves More detail needed to make this a smart question I think. For painting - search the site and you'll find some good stuff on which car aerosols match reasonably.
