Earl Bathurst
Hi Well have finally picked up the Courage to use my airbrush and have been painting my Mink van and have had a go weathering my new crab. Think i need more practice tho. I have included pictures of what i have done so far. If anyone has anything to point out to improve my skills it would be much appreciated. RMweb Gold Zero Gravitas Posted July 1, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 1, 2011 Hello the Right Honourable Scott (which I think is the correct form of address for an Earl...) Like the Crab very much - and this has reminded me of a question that I'm going to need to answer.... I've got a Mink G on my workbench as well, and will shortly need to start painting it. The Parkside instructions say Bauxite, and Paul Bartlett's most excellent website shows Mink Gs in their departmental days, when they seem to be either faded bauxite or just possibly faded gulf red. However, you seem to have chosen maroon - what do you know that I don't ? Best Regards, ZG
Earl Bathurst
Since last time i post on this topic i have had a go at a class 25 and a class 44. I had a go at making a class 25 look very weathered and the class 44 lightly weathered. Not to sure how they look being very self critical of my work they never look how i want them to look in my head (if u know what i mean) Scott
