Looking for a Die-cast, or machined, or plastic 4mm scale capstan, not neccessarily capable of rotating, or do I just have to use one of those plastic-headed drawing pins? 49395 Posted June 30, 2011 Share Posted June 30, 2011 Hi, I got mine from Squires Tools. http://www.squirestools.com/11-19b.pdf 192-040 Miniature Yard/Dockside Capstan 11mm (on page 344) I'm not sure how to scale they are, working out at 2'9" in 4mm scale. You can see them in use on my 2010 challenge layout at the Member's Day on Saturday. EDIT: the base and capstan are seperate parts, so you could make them turn if you want, some extra work would be needed though. The ones I've used are glued solid.
