BROADTRAIN1979
Hi all, i seem to have lost a sound function on my loksound micro decoder for my emu im using the nce powercab to run it. I was programing one of my other locos back to 3, i left the emu on the same track as i messed around with the cvs as well.Is there any way i could retrieve this function back? as all the other function sounds are there horn/ whistle/ doorslam/ air brakes/ compressor etc... its the moving off hum sound that ive lost, otherwise i may have to send it back to olivias for a reblow as i dont know how to retrieve it on cvs if thats possible any advice please??. legomanbiffo
I think I might know how what has happened. To confirm, please read and let me know the value of CV's 148 & 151. Bif
BROADTRAIN1979
Hi bif, CV151 Is the value of 4 on what ive read of the lok 3.5 micro on the instruction sheet but ,olivias loaded the sound and i dont have their data cv sheet to reset the cvs.also i reset it on 7 for recovery.I think i will call olivas send it for a reload. nigel has already told me that the 3.5 micros decoders dont reset to sound installer, unlike the micro 4 version. legomanbiffo
If CV's 148 & 151 are both set to 4, try changing them both to 20, read back to confirm they've changed and then try your sound. Olivia's should be able to email you a list of CV settings to check / set without having to send the chip back. Bif
