Basically Feltham + embroidered story - the yard is Feltham, the loco shed was on the same side of the running lines as the yard if memory serves me right and in any case the signalbox scenes were filmed in Clapham Junction A 'box. The story bears a lot of similarity to one which occurred on the GWR at Birkenhead but which no doubt was repeated at a number of places during the war.
