RMweb Premium Temeraire Posted August 1, 2011 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 1, 2011 Afternoon all, I recently had a sound chip fail on me with no apparent reason, and after consultation with Howes in Oxford who confirmed it was dead, I sent it to ESU in Germany at the suggestion of Brian at Howes. The chip had been bought from a fellow Rmwebber and reblown by Howes so wasn't under any warranty or so I thought. I hadn't heard anything for about 3 weeks and had given up all hope BUT at 3pm this afternoon a courier knocked on the door with a parcel containing a brand new FOC replacement and an apology for the failure! All I can say is a massive thank you to ESU and all I have to do now is decide which loco to put it in after a reblow at Howes. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
