Petri Sallinen Posted August 5, 2011 Share Posted August 5, 2011 I am sorry that I might be under the wrong topic, but I am building the model of Finnish industrial steam locomotive in H0 scale (prototype is German made for five feet gauge) so there will be some similarity (or difficulties) between different kinds of industrial locos. My problem is finding the nine millimeter spoked driving wheel for loco. Have you any ideas where to find this kind of wheel — amount of spokes is not very important in this case, because at this moment I have not found any 9 mm driving wheels at all. Guest Natalie Graham Posted August 5, 2011 Share Posted August 5, 2011 I think you might need to modify something like the Markits 9mm spoked bogie wheels by adding cranks to them, or they do a solid nickel silver 9mm wheel which might make that job easier but you would have to cut out for the spokes.
