I recently bought a Vitrains class 47, when I compared it with my Bachmann models I noticed the buffers on the Bachmann locos were bigger than the ones on the Vitrains model. Raffles Posted August 6, 2011 Share Posted August 6, 2011 Hi Peter, Funnily enough, I measured the buffers on '376 when tomstaf paid the GWR a visit with his tape measure. 22 inches is the answer you are looking for.
