tractor_37260 Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 Recently purchased a Hornby R9700 OTA Log Load (3 parts)along with some of the blue/green version wagons. Sadly the log load will NOT fit in the wagon (too long overall) By cutting/trimming the ends of each stack it may be possible to squeeze them in. I also tried a 10 Commandments OTA log load (designed to fit the Cambrian Kit) it will fit length wise, but will not sit flush to the floor, due to the protruding stanction angle brackets ! Ragtag Posted August 29, 2011 Share Posted August 29, 2011 Same problem here, although Harburn Hobbies' log loads fit just fine. I do think that at £6.99 for a 3-part load it's absolutley ridiculous that Hornby couldn't produce a product that fits their own wagon - and one for which the product was specifically designed at that. I've filed the ends of the sections down and the load does fit, but will need some painting to touch up the exposed resin. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
