RMweb Gold ngtrains.com Posted August 16, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 16, 2011 After much delay in production with no definitive date ever given the Interlink Express Van arrived this morning with a load of big boxes from Accucraft. The Models I have opened one at random for a look see and I happened to pick a C&S 0n3 pack got one car out to photograph. I am impressed with the quality for the price, the San Juan Flat Car is a better and more accurate model but its twice the price so you take your pick. The couplers seem to have the spring issue sorted out that plagued the first box car deliveries. The brake wheel and air hoses are heavily over scale but easily changed. All the other details look fine to me. I haven’t tried running one yet. In think that with some weathering they will make very nice models. I confess that any I keep for me would get a new San Juan brake wheel and rubber air hose plus the San Juan Evolution coupler I now use on all my 0n3 stock. I might have a word with my friends with lasers about doing a wooden deck for them too.
