RMweb Gold Revolution Mike Posted August 23, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 23, 2011 Yes, the 158/170 needs a chip hard wiring anyway so no reason you couldn't make it a sound chip (assuming someone does the right sounds). The 156 and 153 are not exactly "old"! Both come with an NEM651 socket so you could pop in a Loksound Micro with the relevant NEM651 pins. IIRC the 156 might even have a dedicated speaker space. RheneasTeminal Posted August 23, 2011 Share Posted August 23, 2011 yes I would put a speaker or more in the non motorized coach as space is less limited in there thats for the the class 158 159 and 170 but the 153 and 156 have a fair amount of space in them.
