PGN
I've got a Langley N gauge S15 kit to build. The instruction kit says it is designed to fit the Fleischmann 7161 chassis. I also have a Fleischmann 4-6-0 which I bought as a chassis donor, but it turns out to be a 7159 not a 7161. It looks as though the chassis ought to do the trick, however. So ... does anyoen know? Are there any significant differences between the 7161 chassis and the 7159 chassis? Or is it basically the same chassis with a different locomotive superstructure sitting on top of it?? Atso
Looks to me to be different livery versions of the same loco - try http://www.vdweerdt.nl/fleischmann_piccolo.html for a more detailed look at each locomotive and its components.
PGN
Thanks Atso. That was the conclusion I'd drawn ... but it's helpful to have it confirmed!
