Kallaroonian
Any comments on this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290410935929 I was in the process of making something similar so I like the idea in principle. Has anybody used something like this? In theory two sets (4 tools) would make it easy to lay 4 track mainline and would also facilitate the varying track spacing between straight track and curves. Or I could finish the equivalent tools I was making out of some spare sheet stainless !!!
PWSlack
Standard double-track centres are 11ft 2in, or whatever the metric is, widening on curves and with superelevation ("cant").. Standard centres between pairs of double tracks in 16ft 0in, or whatever the metric is. PECO geometries disregard these facts; be warned!.
Andy1963
I use the Peco 22p gauge, worked fine for me. Might not be correct scale, but then the track is the wrong gauge for 4mm scale anyway and that also does me fine too.
