Peco "00" turntable

I have purchased a Peco "00" turntable from Ebay, unfortunately the package did not contain any instructions either mechanical or electrical. I intend to use this on a DCC layout that I am presently constructing, intially I plan to use the unit manually and perphaps electrically controlled at a later stage if I feel the need. I would appreciate any RMweb modellers help to proceed in the right direction.

from memory, the base needs support. I think i used a ply base supported underneath to stop the well dropping when a tender loco was on it.

 

Construction was fairly stright forward i think.
