Buhar
On my hols I finally managed to finish this book. It was published in 1995 and it's taken me that long to read! It is a very everyday story, small dramas against an unfolding slightly bigger drama. It must be the only novel about our hobby. There's some good accuracy in it, Mel Rees is/was either a modeller or researched pretty well, but then seems to run out of ideas to expand some of his caricatures into characters. It ended up being pretty hard going and I only really finished it out of curiosity. Anyone want my copy?
RMweb Premium Claude_Dreyfus Posted January 7, 2010 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 7, 2010 I have partly read it, and agree it can be a little hard work at times... It was bought for me by my Mum a few years back when she met the author; I understand that he is a modeller himself...
