1979redvette Posted October 4, 2011 Share Posted October 4, 2011 I have been asked to detail and weather a Heljan 0 gauge class 20 dating from around the mid 60's. The chosen group of locomotives are numbers D8050 through to D8069 which were all based at Tinsley TMD and all have the correct size side windows to match the Heljan moulding. I have been searching for photographs of any of these locos to work from and to help decide on which one to do but I have only found one photograph so far which is of D8060 in 1965. If anybody has any pictures of any of these locos I would be very gratefull if they could either post them or email me with them. Also if there are any pictures out there showing any of these locos at the time having been fitted with the drilled bogie side frames to match the Heljan model this would be very helpfull as it would save me having to alter them.
