Hornby Modern Traction Shed

The new Hornby modern traction shed, based unashamedly on our shed on Airthrey Park has landed at the box shifters

Simon tells us it has been designed to be modular, you can (unlike the Bachmann shed) keep adding more sheds to make it as long as the original or longer.

The Hornby version is nominally half the length of the Airthrey Park version (which would comfortably hold a modern 3 car DMU like a 170)

 

Inspired in its original form on the DMU sheds at Haymarket depot

Some of the finesse has obviously been lost in translation but a few Express models lamps and a bit of tarting up........
