Guest oldlugger
Just out of interest I'm trying to think of a brand name that produced rather nice card kits in the 1970's, which a friend of mine and I used on our layouts. They did a station building and a signal box - timber types I think. They were not Superquick, Bilteezi; Prototype Kits or the later fine scale kits often advertised in early MRJs. I can just visualise the look but not the name! Cheers Simon
sagaguy
How about BuilderPlus, they also produced some very nice brickpaper. Ray
Guest oldlugger
Hello Ray, That's a possibility but having just checked some photos of the kits, they don't have the look of the ones I'm thinking about. Thanks for your suggestion though. Simon
RMweb Premium ELTEL Posted January 7, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 7, 2012 Are you still trying to find the name of the card kits. If you are I will have a look in some old MRJs in the club library and see what I can find Eltel

richbrummitt
Prototype models sounds like it might fit the bill? They are rather nice card kits and only did a few railway prototypes. If you are stuck try getting in touch with this guy http://www.freestonemodel.co.uk/ He has a very good knowledge of what is and was available in card models. If it's available he will most likely have it available.
