Were there norms for water tanks in Scotland and in the NE particularly? Where can I find photos of the tops of Scottish water tanks? Pregrouping and LNER? Can anyone help? Photos of GNSR tanks show some covered, some open, and at different times and locations. But there are precious few photos which actually show the tops of them - no one was interested at the time.
